B’nai Shalom is a diverse community composed of believers from a variety of faith backgrounds. We have all come together though our faith in Yeshua Hamashiach (Jesus, the Messiah) and our belief that G-d’s Torah (Instructions) are given as a way of life to all believers.
We meet weekly to worship G-d through praise, singing, liturgy, communal prayer, Davidic Dance and study of the Holy Scriptures. Our primary focus is on Torah and how it relates with the rest of the scriptures (Tanakh and Brit Chadasha - Old and New Covenants/Testaments.)
We endeavor to worship our Creator as was done by Yeshua’s first disciples in the first century. They never stopped attending synagogue, they continued to study the Hebrew scriptures and they continued to offer sacrifices as commanded by God and observed His appointed times.
Every Shabbat is a festive time for the family of B’nai Shalom. We tend to come early and stay late. After our Erev Shabbat service we enjoy a time of Oneg (delight) by enjoying a Biblically kosher potluck followed by fellowship long into the night.
It is our goal at B’nai Shalom to be a loving, supporting family to each other and our community. “What we have seen and heard we proclaim to you also, so that you too may have fellowship with us; and indeed our fellowship is with the Father, and with His Son Jesus Christ (Yeshua the Messiah).” 1 John 1:3
